Author Guidelines
SATELIT: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Terapan is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the fields of applied sciences, engineering, and integrative technologies. The journal focuses on the development and application of science and technology, including applied physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, environmental science, material science, engineering, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, energy and sustainability, agro-industry, marine and fisheries technology, as well as science and technology education. Submissions may address fundamental theories, applied research, or interdisciplinary approaches that foster innovation and practical solutions in scientific and technological contexts. To ensure the quality and academic integrity of all published work, authors are encouraged to carefully follow the journal’s submission guidelines and adhere to ethical research standards.
MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
Language:
Manuscripts should be written in English. However, submissions in Indonesian are also accepted, provided that the manuscript will be translated into English upon acceptance for publication.
Originality:
Submissions must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Formatting:
- Manuscripts must be typed in Cambria letters, size 10, with 1.0 line spacing.
- Margins should be set to 2.5 cm on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right)
- Use A4 paper size (8.27 inches wide by 11.69 inches high).
- The layout must include a 0.5-inch header and 0.5-inch footer.
- To facilitate proper formatting, authors are encouraged to use the provided manuscript template.
MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE
Title Page:
The title page should contain the following information:
- The title of the manuscript (maximum 20 words).
- The full names of all authors, along with their affiliations (format: Department/Program, University, City, Country).
- The corresponding author's name and email address.
- An abstract of 200-250 words.
- 3-5 keywords, listed in alphabetical order.
Main Text:
- Introduction: Present the research problem, identify the gap in the current literature, explain the study's novelty, state the objectives, and justify the significance of the research.
- Methodology: Provide a detailed description of the research design, participants, data collection methods, and data analysis procedures.
- Results: Present the research findings clearly and concisely. Use tables and figures where necessary to support the presentation of data.
- Discussion: Interpret the results and discuss their implications. Compare the findings with previous research and highlight their relevance to the field.
- Conclusion: Summarize the key findings, their implications, and suggest directions for future research.
References
- Authors must follow the 7th Edition of APA (American Psychological Association) style for citations and references.
- All references cited in the text must be included in the reference section and vice versa.
- Ensure that references are accurate, complete, and formatted correctly according to APA style.
Tables and Figures
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and include a descriptive title.
- Each table and figure must be referred to within the text of the manuscript.
- Tables and figures should be placed in the appropriate position within the manuscript text or at the end, ensuring they are clear and readable.
